Getting Organized for the New Stampin Up Year!

As I am getting more and more excited for the premier for the 2014-2015 Stampin' Up Catalog on April 28th, I find myself wanting to get a little more organized. I am setting new goals and making lots of notes to myself to help me remember to get things done, I have little sticky notes and pieces of paper everywhere.
I was sitting at my desk looking at the mess and then I started looking around on Pinterest, which I do a little too much and get distracted from my task at hand, but today I found The City Crafters Challenge and decided I needed a cute Notebook for all my notes to go in one place. My Up-lines group is the BZB Stampers.

I am getting ready for April birthdays already, I am proud of myself, I have been doing really well getting all my cards in the mail on time. As I sat in my office thinking of what to create I knew I wanted to use some Sale-A-Bration items since this is the last week to take advantage of the amazing items the the Banner Punch and the stamp set See Ya later. I used the sketch from MOJO Monday, which is always a go to place for great ideas and The Card Concept.

You Can Never Have Too Many Thank You's

I always find my self needing a thank you card, weather it be for a random act of kindness or wanting to thank someone for a job well done, most important a thank you to a customer. Stampin' UP has so many sets for just what I need.

Today's card was created using the sketch from Create with Connie & Mary. I was not sure what I would do for the 3  lines on the card, I tried the washi tape that match the Gingham Garden paper but did not like the way it looked so I went with the Line Thread and I think it added just enough to make it look right.
Supplies Used:
CS: Pear Pizzazz, Melon Mambo, Island Indigo & Whisper White
DSP: Gingham Garden. Stamp Set: Yippee Skippee!
Accessories: Ovals Framelits & Linen Thread

Your The Best!

I am not one to create a card and not use any embossing of designer paper to create depth, however I say the sketch from Nacho Average Challenge and wanted to do something a little different. I have not played much with the Just Sayin' stamp set and knew this was the perfect chance. I really like the bubbles in this set! I also used the color challenge from The Color Throwdown, I have not used Perfect Plum in a very long time so it was a great way to dust it off. This is a very quick and simple card.
Supplies Used:
CS: Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay, Perfect Plum & Whisper White
Ink: Pacific Point; Stamp Set: Just Sayin'
Accessories: Word Bubbles Framelits

Congratulations For Colour Q & Freshly Made

I have been so busy this week with the family and getting ready for drag racing season i have neglected my office and being able to create. I finally got to my desk this evening to make a few congratulations cards for a few friends and deserve a little something in the mail from me. I was inspired by the Colour Q challenge because the colors just stood out to me. I did have to switch out a few as they were retired and I wanted to make sure to use current product so I could also use these in my next class.  I also used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches to come up with this card. You will also notice I used the new Burlap Ribbon on this one, I was note sure I liked this ribbon but it is growing on me. I had a customer ask about using it on a card so I made sure too for her.

I also created this card using the same colors and just changed the sketch a bit without using the ribbon for those that did not want to.
Supplies Used:
CS: Island Indigo, Calyspo Coral, Old Olive, Smoky Slate & Whisper White
Ink: Island Indigo; Stamp Set: Itty Bitty Banners

I am up a little late tonight considering I will be participating in the Shamrock Run in the morning but I wanted to craft!
