Freshly Made Thanksgiving

Happy Sunday, it is cold and windy here in Oregon which I should be used to! I was very thankful for the extra hour of sleep this morning also!

I am getting ready for my family gathering at my house is a few weeks and wanted to send out cards to my family with the details. I also made a small box that has a little surprise for the kids. I used the sketch from Freshly made Sketches, it is one of my go to when I need some inspiration. I was not sure about the Blackberry Bliss & Crushed Curry together but I think it looks nice.

More Clean & Simple Cards For My Beginners

Happy Friday! It is going to be extremely HOT this weekend, and we don't have our pool anymore so I guess I will be sharing with my Little Lucy, not very big but it will work.

I am working on finishing my last few cards for my beginners class I hold each month. I really enjoy getting together with these ladies and sharing my love for crafting and showing them anyone one can do it. This is my favorite class because I get to watch them grow and move up to my other classes so I am always looking for Newbies :) (wink, wink, contact me to join in the fun)

I created today's card using the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch, I could not decide which stamp set to use at first since I only like to use one or two sets for the class so I can show the many ways it can be used. I have not used Geometrical very much so I thought it was time, this is what I came up with.

Clean & Simple Fab Friday

Happy Thursday almost Friday! It has been a wonderful week, the weather is amazing I get to leave for Stampin' UP Convention in 5 days, I am so excited.

In my last post I talk about not having any of the current designer series paper on hand and how tough it is for me to come up with a card so I spent way too much time on Pinterest as usual and found a few great sketches that I like and went to work. Today card is inspired from Fab Friday 45 & also saw the Pals Paper Arts color challenge. I know that I did not use Daffodil Delight but I wanted to use the Chevron Ribbon so I changed it up and used Crushed Curry. I will be making this card in my beginners class on the 3rd Thursday of the month, we will be focusing on Manly cards this month.

Birthday Wishes

I know it has been a LONG time since I have posted anything, I have had a whirl wind of events take place and I am finally getting back on track.

I needed a Birthday card for a friends daughter and my granddaughter wanted to help, so we searched Google and found a card she like and wanted to make one just like it.  The card comes from Stampin Pretty back in 2008 but is a beautiful card.

This is what we came up with.
My granddaughter loves to create with me and give me ideas how how to make it pretty, She just loved the rhinestones.

Saying Goodbye & Three Challenges

Today is the day.....the last day you can get FREE shipping on your orders from Stampin' UP so don't miss out, check out my Online Store.

Today I have used a few items that will be retiring, not just the stamp set Fabulous Florets but the Strips Embossing folder will be retiring as well this year. I am not one to use too many flowers in my projects but this stamp set is beautiful and can be used so many ways, I did have to fussy cut the flower out so I could make it pop. I used the sketch from Retro Sketches, SUO Challenge was to feature flowers & The Colour Q for color inspiration. The more I look at this card the more I like it, my swap mate is sure to like it.

CS: Elegant Eggplant, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake & Whisper White

Back in the Stampin Up Family

I am super excited to say that I have joined the Stampin up Family again. I dropped last November after I had to have several surgeries on my right hand which cause not much crafting to get done. I had my last surgery on Monday Jan. 27th and took the week to recover! I have joined Stampin Up again as of last night. I will be updated my blog to have the catalogs and any specials being offered so you can take full advantage of them right from my page.

Feeling thankful and blessed!
